A great diversity of cultures inhabited our territory before the arrival of the Spaniards, some so advanced and sophisticated ones as those that produced San Agustín's statuary in the Huila, the tombs of Tierradentro in the Cauca, or the Lost City (Buritaca 2000) in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta.
With the Conquest and the Colony, the European targets of Spain arrived who in turn slaves of África brought. It is for it that Colombia is a country multiétnico and pluricultural, where each region possesses own features that distinguish it of its neighbors.
